The Insiders: We yell fire truck pull in a crowded newspaper column
All good things must come to an end, readers, so we might as well wrap up today’s column. Just kidding – we barely started it. But we’ll use it to tell you today is the final day of Market Days, and there’s tons of great stuff going on, including the fire truck pull at 10 a.m. (Keith will be giving it a go!), another Red River movie under the stars (The Sting) at 8:30 p.m. and plenty of great music. Check out intownconcord.org for a complete schedule.
Things are still awesome, if Market Day-less, tomorrow though, when the Merrimack River Triathlon kicks off behind ConvenientMD at 6 Loudon Road. It’s a 4k off-road bike ride, 3k run and 3k paddle – in a water craft of your choosing. Just make sure you bring something that floats (you’ll need to provide your own water craft). Registration begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, with individual start at 9:30 a.m. and teams heading out at 11 a.m.
