The Insiders: Concord, a village in harmony
Sorry, hipsters – the mustache died with Dennis Farina. Shave it or pave it (not sure what that means beyond “shave it” but it just seems right)! Anyway, let’s get to today’s fun Concord events, shall we?
The Village Harmony concert takes place tonight at the Unitarian Universalist Church (274 Pleasant St.) at 7:30. If you’ve ever wanted to see a group of teens sing Balkan and Ukrainian village music, as well as sea shanties, Appalachian folk music and much more, tonight’s the night! The event is free, although a $10 donation ($5 for students/seniors) is encouraged. For more information, call 798-3405.
Elsewhere, storyteller Rebecca Rule weaves some tales at Presidential Oaks (200 Pleasant St.) at 6:30 p.m. The event is free; for more information, call 225-6644.
Scott Solsky performs some jazzy tunes at Hermanos (11 Hills Ave.) at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Amanda “Huggenkiss” Hegnauer presents “A Naturopathic Approach to Autoimmune Disease” at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. as well.

Finally, some corrections to mistakes we made in last week’s columns. First off, Prince William Montbatten-Windsor Wales and Kate Middleton’s royal baby is not named Poundsign Hashtag Yolo, as we previously reported.
Secondly, the popular new Netflix series Orange is the New Black is not about the real-life romance between Snooki and John Boehner.
Lastly, reading this column in full does not grant us power of attorney over you, as we claimed. We’ll be by shortly to return your things.
We’ll try to do better next time.
