The Insiders: It’s going to be smooth yard-saling today
It’s Labor Day weekend, readers – or to many of us in the thrifty set, the last chance to go yard-saling this year! Are you looking for the perfect piece of furniture to complete your living room? That old-school NES game that you have been searching for for years? A bunch of hidden treasures that you can sell on eBay for a tidy profit? Well, you probably won’t find any of that stuff; after all, when you go yard-saling, you never find what you’re looking for, but you always find something you need! There are at least seven yard sales going on in Concord as we speak, on roads such as Dunklee Street, Cherry Street and East Sugar Ball Road. Check out the Monitor’s Classifieds section or visit classifieds.concordmonitor.com for a full list of local sales. No early birds!

Elsewhere, the Patriot Day of Golf event continues at Beaver Meadow, the farmers market runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Capitol Street and the Mary Baker Eddy house is open for tours.
