The Insiders: Find that right spot for your tot
Deciding where to send your child for preschool can be difficult.
A good preschool education can mean the difference between your child getting into Harvard or being forced to settle on Yale. The stress can be a lot to deal with and we get it.
So before spending hours at your computer researching all the local education hot spots for your tot, you might want to take a deep breath and head on over to the Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 79 Clinton St.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the MOMS Club of Concord will host the Concord-area Preschool Fair. It is the place to find all the latest information. As of yesterday, 11 local schools were signed up and there could be more when the fair opens. You will just have to go and see for yourself.
Representatives from each school will be on hand to describe their programs and what they offer, as well as answer all your questions to help make the final decision easier. The fair is free and offers on-site childcare, which is also free. There are door prizes and raffles and each person will walk away with a brochure detailing all the preschools in attendance. Sounds like a lot of great free stuff.
According to Kristen Johnson, MOMS Club member and organizer of the fair, “It’s kind of a one-stop shop event for families to get a feel for what’s out there for preschools in Concord and maybe narrow down their search to which ones they want to visit.”
