The Insiders: We love candy
We can’t believe it’s finally here. The day where everyone is expected to ditch those fancy work clothes for superhero capes and horrifying masks, and in at least one of our cases, a homemade Care Bear costume (that for the record turned out to be one of the best ever created). We’re not sure if you know this, but Halloween should be considered one of the greatest days of the year.
You can knock on someone’s door and get free candy. You can dress up however you would like and for the most part it is socially acceptable. And you can scare people without any real threat of a call to the police.
While the holiday is mostly meant for children, adults can get in on the fun. All you need is a costume party to attend because trick-or-treating at our age is in most cases frowned upon.
Tonight, trick-or-treating hours will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the city and that should be more than enough time to collect a large amount of sugary treasures. Make sure to map out your route ahead of time to maximize your candy intake and remember that any extras can be dropped off at the Insider. We sure do love candy.
