New Mexican restaurant to open on Loudon Road

A new Mexican restaurant will open on Loudon Road this summer.

El Rodeo, a family-owned group of Mexican restaurants, will open in July at 22 Loudon Road, said Pedro Aguirre, one of the company’s employees. Outback Steakhouse occupied the restaurant space until it closed last year.

Aguirre’s uncle, Jesus Arellano, owns more than 15 El Rodeo restaurants in several states.

The restaurants are all family-run, Aguirre said.

“And it’s an authentic Mexican restaurant,” he said. “We’re dedicated to making the sauces every day. Everything’s scratch made. What we dedicate ourselves to is cleanliness, quality of the food and good service.”

Concord will be the restaurant’s second location in New Hampshire. Aguirre said they recently opened a restaurant in Exeter called Mexico Lindo – the only of his uncle’s restaurants that’s not named El Rodeo.

Aguirre said the restaurant is currently being renovated, and he hopes to open in late July or early August.
