The Insiders: Dress up as an audience member at this Halloween show
There’s nothing quite as hilarious as Halloween, except maybe barbershops (just ask Ice Cube). If you’ve been wondering how to perfectly blend the hilarity of the two, we’ve got your answer today at 2 p.m. with the 54th annual Festival of Barbershop Harmony at the Concord City Auditorium.
The Concord Coachmen Barbershop Chorus will host what has been called “a wildly popular Audi event” today in a concert that will feature costumes, gags and other fun. It can also feature trick-or-treating, but only if you ask all of the other people in your row for candy (this isn’t entirely recommended).
Guests include The Sweet Adelines’ Profile Chorus and “other special quartets,” according to press information. We’re in the process of trying to clone the Insider staff to become one of those special groups. Tickets to the show are $15. For more information, call 483-8395, or email email@example.com.
