Manchester man gets 20 to 60 years for sexual assault
A judge has sentenced a 49-year-old Manchester man to 20 to 60 years in prison for sexually assaulting the daughter of a friend.
Prosecutors said Armando Lisasuain had sometimes stayed overnight at the friend’s house since 2010 after the woman’s husband – the victim’s father – had died.
In 2013, the victim was home alone watching television when Lisasuain assaulted her. She told the police he assaulted her twice more.
Lisasuain was found guilty in November.
Judge David Garfunkel sentenced him Friday to the 20 to 60 years that prosecutors sought. The defense wanted a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
He also must undergo sex offender counseling and register as a sex offender.
