Woman charged with stealing produce from community garden
The state police yesterday arrested a 27-year-old Boscawen woman who they said helped steal produce last fall from a Concord community garden.
The woman, Amanda Gosselin, turned herself in on an arrest warrant and has been charged with one misdemeanor count of theft by unauthorized taking, the police said. Authorities said she and another man, Francisco Sorrentino, also of Boscawen, broke into the Sycamore Community Garden Project in September.
Gosselin was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord’s district court Jan. 13. Sorrentino has been charged with two counts of unauthorized taking.
