Council confirms superior court judge nomination
The state Executive Council yesterday confirmed Gov. Maggie Hassan’s nomination of Chuck Temple as a superior court judge. Temple, a Concord resident and former practicing attorney, was most recently the head of the Criminal Practice Clinic at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He was one of five candidates the governor nominated last month for superior and district court openings.
“These five highly qualified individuals have demonstrated a strong commitment to a fair, effective and transparent New Hampshire judicial system, and each has clearly demonstrated the experience, integrity and temperament that the people of our state expect of their judges,” Hassan said in a statement.
It’s not yet clear which court Temple will be appointed to.
