Belmont police make arrest in heroin-related death
The police have accused a New Hampshire man of supplying some heroin that led to another man’s death.
The police in Belmont were called to the home of 32-year-old Jonathan Woodbury last Tuesday. They found 26-year-old Michael Chamberlin of Laconia suffering from breathing distress, and he later died.
The Citizen reported that an investigation determined that Chamberlain used heroin at the residence, and that Woodbury had allegedly dispensed the drug. Woodbury was charged with the sale of a controlled/narcotic drug resulting in death. He was being arraigned yesterday.
