Jurors in Mazzaglia trial hear McDonough’s grand jury testimony
Jurors in the murder trial of a man charged with raping and strangling a 19-year-old University of New Hampshire student have heard what his ex-girlfriend told a grand jury happened the night of the killing.
Thirty-one-year-old Seth Mazzaglia is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott on Oct. 9, 2012.
Prosecutors played for jurors the hourlong appearance of his former girlfriend – 19-year-old Kathryn McDonough – before the grand jury in February 2013 about the night Marriott died.
Defense attorney Joachim Barth is resumed his questioning of McDonough and attempt to undermine her credibility.
