Storm postpones game between Red Sox and Orioles
BOSTON – The Fourth of July game between the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles was postponed three hours before the scheduled first pitch because of the expected arrival of Hurricane Arthur.
It will be made up today as part of a day-night doubleheader.
Jon Lester, who was scheduled to start yesterday’s game, will start Game 1 today, while John Lackey will make his scheduled start in the nightcap for the Red Sox. The Orioles will start Miguel Gonzalez in Game 1 and Ubaldo Jimenez in Game 2.
The forecast for today is for clear skies.
