Authors, oysters and antiques
Art exhibit, band also on to-do list
What’s on tap for this week? Oysters, authors, antiques, art and a little Club Soda.
The town of Newmarket will hold its annual Olde Home Day celebration and Oyster Festival on Saturday, including a farmers market, a 5K and so much more. The event actually kicks off tomorrow night with a free Pre-Oyster Fest Party at the Stone Church Meeting House at 9, during which The Equalities will perform. The celebration is held in honor of the revitalization of Newmarket’s downtown and waterfront and to raise awareness about the need for conservation efforts for the oysters of Great Bay.
