The Insiders

The Insiders: It’s movie day at the library, so why not go watch.

Movie nights are just the best. How can you go wrong when your evening activity involves relaxing on a comfy piece of furniture with your favorite snacks and getting totally lost in an interesting tale for a couple hours? We equate it to the feeling most of you probably get when you sit down to read the Insider each week.

And today, the Concord library has got you covered with a special teen movie night screening of Divergent in the auditorium at 2 p.m.

Divergent is set in a futuristic Chicago, where the society is divided into five factions and 16-year-old members join a faction based on the results of an aptitude test. When a test shows attributes of multiple factions, that person, like main character Beatrice Prior, can be considered a threat to social order.

Want to find out what happens to Beatrice next? Our only suggestion is to go check out this PG-13 action adventure film (released this year) for yourself because you’re not getting any more highlights from us. The less you know, the more exciting it will be for those two and a half hours.

Admission is free, but you’re on your own for snacks.
