Free concert in Bicentennial Square set for tonight
True Brew Barista will host a free concert tonight in Bicentennial Square.
When co-owner Stephanie Zinser heard positive feedback on the outdoor music during this summer’s Market Days festival sponsored by Intown Concord, she decided to keep the concerts coming.
So tonight from 5:30 to 7 p.m., musician Mark Gagnon will play on the patio outside True Brew. Two New Hampshire bands – Pat and the Hats and People Skills – will then take the stage in Bicentennial Square. They’ll continue the show inside the bar after 10 p.m. until close.
“This one came together really nicely,” Zinser said.
Zinser said New Hampshire Distributors stepped in Monday morning to sponsor the concert. Admission is free, and any new guests will be charged a $3 cover after 10 p.m. when the show moves inside. Those who have already been listening outside for free will simply be asked for a donation.
“We can come out as a community and celebrate the beautiful nights of summer that we have left,” Zinser said.
For more information or to reserve a VIP seat on the patio for $25, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 225-2776.
