The Insiders: Here’s your second chance to see ‘Northern Borders’ for the first time

Jay Craven is a fan of the city of Concord. And it’s safe to say that the city feels the same way – well at least when it comes to his film, Northern Borders. Craven brought his movie to Red River Theatres earlier this month for what turned out to be a successful four-day stint during a tour of New England. And before making trips to Boston and New York, Craven decided to bring it back to the capital city for a second go around. So for all of you who missed out, looks like the luck gods are on your side.

The Vermont filmmaker tells a story about 10-year-old Austen Kittredge, who in 1956 is sent to live with his grandparents on their farm in Vermont, where he has wild adventures and uncovers long-festering family secrets.

The film will be at Red River for the next seven days, beginning today with three screenings at 2, 5:30 and 7:45 p.m. But if you can’t make it tonight, visit for a complete list of showtimes.
