Letter: Bass is a bully
To those who have been following the Annie Kuster/Charlie Bass brouhaha as I have, I hope you see it for what it is. Bass is slipping in the polls, losing this race to Kuster and has nothing else to fall back on but having his staff harass her in public (the camera incident) and speak untruths at a joint conference at the Southern New Hampshire Jewish Men’s Club forum.
Bullying is an ugly thing and is rampant in our society on many fronts, not just kids at school. It is a serious issue, and I am proud of Kuster for confronting it for what it is: a form of violence and just plain wrong. As one who supports Kuster for Congress, I am proud of her for standing up to these attacks and calling it like it is. Bass can’t intimidate Kuster, and he’s only made himself look desperate. I hope many people see this for what it is and get behind Kuster on Election Day. Go Annie!
