Letter: Bring Shea-Porter back!
In the past New Hampshire was lucky to have Carol Shea-Porter in Congress for four years. We need her back!
During her four years in Congress, Shea-Porter brought construction and jobs to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, helped secure funding to rebuild the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth, increased Pell grants for students, got funding for community health centers and grants for police officers and firefighters.
Shea-Porter believes in fairness for all, not just folks with money. She does not take PAC money, so no one will own her. She will be there for New Hampshire folks totally.
Shea-Porter will continue doing her strong work with creating local jobs. She does not want any more shipping of jobs overseas. She also believes strongly in developing better infrastructure. This would mean better work on our roads, bridges, rail and power grid.Shea-Porter sees the importance of a clean environment and has worked for clean air and water, safe food, and a clean energy plan for the future. Her husband was in the military, and she has done great work for our vets in the past, including getting greater access to in-state medical care for New Hampshire vets.
Vote for Shea-Porter in November!
