Boscawen’s Halloween celebration postponed until Saturday night

Hurricane Sandy did more than knock out power all over the state Monday night.

She also postponed Boscawen’s Halloween celebration, moving it from tonight to Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m., according to Sgt. Jason Killary of the Boscawen Police Department.

“We didn’t know what we’d be dealing with at this point in time,” Killary said, “so we just decided to postpone it so everyone would be safe.”
