The Hillsboro Police are searching for a man who is the main suspect in an armed robbery at Cumberland Farms on Henniker Street yesterday afternoon.

Christopher Corona, 44, is the subject of the search and the number one suspect in the robbery, said Lt. Ian Donovan. He allegedly brandished a knife at a Cumberland Farms employee who was leaving the store with a bag of cash to take to the bank. The, who was partially masked, stole the bag of cash but did not injure the employee. The robbery occurred just after noon yesterday.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene in a silver 2011 KIA Sorento, with the New Hampshire registration 3176374. Corona does not own the vehicle, and police were led to Corona partly by contacting the owner of the vehicle, Donovan said. Security cameras also caught part of the incident, he said.

Donovan has been contacting police officers from other department to aid in the search.

Corona may be going by an alias of the last name “Quigley,” Donovan said.

The police are asking anyone with information to contact their local departments or the Hillsboro Police Department at 464-5512.
