Now You Know: American Mothers taking nominations for Mom of the Year
IS YOUR MOM the best mom?
American Mothers Inc. is taking nominations for 2013 Mother of the Year, Young Mother of the Year and Mother of Achievement. The deadline for New Hampshire nominations is Saturday.
“Our goal is to recognize and thank moms for the many jobs they do on a daily basis and the significant contributions they are making in the community and our country,” Connell Branan, president of American Mothers, said in a statement. “We are searching for those ordinary mothers doing extraordinary things, and we invite anyone to nominate an inspirational mother in their life.”
To qualify for the National Mother of the Year award, at least one of the nominee’s children must be over the age of 18. To qualify for the Young Mother of the Year award, all of the nominee’s children must be under the age of 18. The Mother of Achievement award recognizes women “whose positive influence, talents and community service have made a significant impact in the lives of children and families,” according to the organization.
