The Concord Food Co-op has been hosting the 10-week Kitchen on a Mission series for the past four years. Since they started, the program has grown from 30 attendees to more than 200 in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn in downtown Concord. On Monday, Co-op chef Mike Cook demonstrated a recipe for baked plum tomatoes with herbed rice stuffing, and nutritionist Hilary Warner, registered dietician, lectured about the benefits of eating whole grains.
