Concord to launch new website

Concord’s new website will launch next week, City Manager Tom Aspell said.

The site – with a new design and a mobile version – will allow residents to pay their bills online and receive email alerts, Aspell told the audience at the state of the city luncheon this week.

Alerts from the new website will include parking bans, road closures and meeting reminders, Aspell said.

Residents can also file complaints and requests through the website. Aspell said the feature will improve efficiency and customer satisfaction in city government.

“So you’ll be able to go home any time you want, you see a pot hole, you see a dead skunk in the road, type it in,” he said. “It automatically gets forwarded to the person in charge of that.”

Residents will receive an email when their work order has been completed, Aspell said.

The new site – concordnh.gov – will launch on Thursday.
