Everyone dreams of living the life of a Hollywood celebrity. Palatial mansions, luxury cars, distinguished titles like “Tom Cruise’s future ex-wife.”

Well, Concord, tonight is your night. Red River Theatres is hosting a Night Among the Stars, and in this instance the star is you.

Walk the red carpet, dodge paparazzi and perhaps find a Kardashian to go home with as the Oscars are telecast in Red River’s two main theaters to more than 250 guests.

“Harkening back to the golden days of cinema, the theater will be festooned with images from Hollywood’s most glamorous era,” according to press information from the theater. Let’s be real – how often do you have the chance to harken and festoon in the same evening?

There will be a red carpet walk, complete with paparazzi, in the lobby, and television-style interviews with guests. So grab your hottest arm candy and start practicing your Blue Steel face.

Black and white attire is encouraged. Tuxedo T-shirts are optional.

Walk the red carpet starting at 6:30 p.m., with the live broadcast beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 by the seat, or $225 for a row of six. For more information, visit redrivertheatres.org.

The trip will depart from the Heights Community Center. Drop off time is 8:30 a.m. and pick-up is 4:30 p.m. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 225-8690.

These options not cool enough for you? Perhaps this can global warm you up: The Holiday Inn will host the Way Forward Climate Solutions Conference tomorrow from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
