Sanbornton man indicted on aggravated felonious sexual assault
A Sanbornton man has been indicted on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.
Samuel Kelley-Vail, 26, is accused of raping a woman when “she was physically helpless to resist,” according to the indictments handed down by a Merrimack County grand jury.
The incident is alleged to have taken place in Concord on either Jan. 21, 2012, or Jan. 22, 2012.
Concord police Lt. Timothy O’Malley said that while his office investigated the incident, he declined to further describe the nature of the assault, saying only that the woman “was in a condition that she was not able to consent.”
Kelley-Vail did not return a message left yesterday afternoon at his home on Perkins Road in Sanbornton.
