Public meeting to address bus between Concord and Manchester
The state Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting tomorrow about a potential bus service between Concord and Manchester.
The meeting will seek input from officials, transportation providers and members of the public,
said Fred Butler, a transportation specialist for the Department of Transportation.
Transportation officials began exploring the idea in January, when lawmakers expressed interest in a bus between Concord and the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
The Department of Transportation has since held meetings with transportation officials and representatives from the airport. Tomorrow’s meeting is the next step to determine whether the state will move forward with a feasibility study, Butler said.
The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Department of Transportation at 7 Hazen Drive.
