Best-selling author Randy Susan Meyers comes to Gibson’s Bookstore tonight promoting her new book, The Comfort of Lies.
Meyers’s first book, The Murderer’s Daughters, garnered critical plaudits and devoted readers. Her latest looks at the fallout of infidelity in the lives of three women. Meyers speaks at

Amped-up swing and folk come to Monkey
Plymouth’s Flying Monkey Performance Center welcomes two acts over the next few days. Tomorrow, the swinging Big Bad Voodoo Daddy plays at 7:30 p.m. It’s the 20th anniversary of the impeccably styled band, and tickets start at $45.
On Saturday, the venue changes things up and welcomes a duo of singer-songwriters. Dar Williams and Patty Larkin will share the bill, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Saturday show start at $29.
