Experience the epic: Ben-Hur at Red River
Enjoy the original Ben-Hur tomorrow at Red River Theatres. The 1925 silent film (full title: Ben-Hur, A Tale of The Christ) will include live music by specialist Jeff Rapsis.
Don’t think this pre-Charlton Heston version of the epic lacks for grandeur, either. The film features a cast of thousands and a riveting chariot race. The show starts at 7 p.m., and it costs $10 to get in.
For information about the show and about Red River’s other events, call 224-4600 or go to redrivertheatres.org. The theater is at 11 S. Main St. in downtown Concord.
