Concord dog licensing begins April 1

Concord residents can register for annual dog licenses beginning Monday.

Dog license renewal payments can be mailed to the city clerk’s office or made in person at city hall. Licenses can only be issued if the city has current rabies information on file.

Dog owners must pay the following fees, according to the city clerk’s office:

∎ Non-spayed or non-neutered dogs: $10

∎ Spayed or neutered dogs: $7.50

∎ Dogs under 8 months old: $7.50

∎ Five or more dogs with the same owner: $20

∎ First dog with an owner older than 65: $2

Residents who do not license their dogs before May 31 will be required to pay an additional fee.

Payments can be mailed to city clerk’s office at 41 Green St.
