Pembroke School Board taking applications for vacancy

The Pembroke School Board is accepting applications for a vacancy.

Jeanne Byrne, who was elected earlier this month in an uncontested election, withdrew from the board, according to Superintendent Patty Sherman.

Interested parties should send a letter to the school board via the SAU 53 office by April 8. The board will conduct public interviews with candidates at its next meeting, April 9, at 6 p.m.

The term of this seat will expire in March 2014.

Letters of interest can be mailed to Thomas Serafin, c/o SAU # 53, 267 Pembroke St., Pembroke, NH 03275.
