The Insiders: There’s no questioning this Danica Patrick appearance

We don’t have all the answers. For that matter, we don’t have all the questions, either. Do we have some of the questions? Great question!

If it’s answers you want, today is the day to visit New Hampshire Motor Speedway, because NASCAR sensation Danica Patrick is holding a Q-and-A event at 10 a.m. ahead of this afternoon’s Camping World RV Sales 301 race. She can only provide detailed A’s if you bring thoughtful Q’s, though, so put on your thinking helmet (hey, racing is a dangerous sport) and try to come up with something more creative than “Will you marry me?”

The event will be held in the Hospitality Village beginning at 10 a.m. The location is not to be confused with the Insider office, which is only informally known as hospitality village. Tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for children up to age 16. Call guest services at 783-4931 to purchase tickets.

In the sort-of planning ahead department, if you’ve got some free time tomorrow night, we recommend using it to visit Gibson’s Bookstore for an appearance by author Sam Halpern, the inspiration for the infamous Twitter account S*** My Dad Says that gave birth to a short-lived CBS sitcom. But that’s not why he’s in town; he’s here to discuss his debut novel, A Far Piece to Canaan, which was inspired by his own childhood in Kentucky. Kirkus Reviews affectionately referred to Halpern as a “humorous crank” in its positive review; why don’t you stop by Gibson’s tomorrow and decide what you’d like to call him (top suggestion: Sam)?
