The Henniker Police Department is investigating two commercial burglaries that occurred early Friday morning and were likely committed by the same subjects.

The department issued a press release that said the police responded to a 1:15 a.m. burglary alarm on Friday at the Henniker Mobil on Bradford Road. The police found someone had entered the store and merchandise was removed, although they did not disclose what was taken.

As the police investigated the burglary at the Henniker Mobil, they received a burglary alarm from Dunkin Donuts on Old Concord Road, the release said. They found entry had been made into that store as well, but did not disclose if anything was taken.

Evidence found at the scenes indicate the same subjects entered both stores.

Detective Stephen Dennis said the police are looking for either a blue or gray SUV in connection with the burglaries, possibly a Subaru Forester.

Dennis encouraged anyone with information to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100. The Crimeline offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
