Concord man, homeless woman, arrested after allegedly burglarizing car in Bow
The Bow police arrested a Concord man and a homeless woman last week after a homeowner said he saw them rummaging through his car in his driveway on Dow Road, according to a news release from the police.
Adam Higgins, 25, and Christine Murray, 27, were charged with criminal trespass, prowling and attempted theft.
The homeowner called the police shortly after midnight Wednesday, and reported seeing someone rummaging through his car, parked under the car port in his driveway.
When they arrived, officers found a 1989 Plymouth Horizon parked near the end of the driveway, and found Higgins and Murray hiding in the woods nearby.
A later search of the vehicle yielded “illegal drugs and items associated with an area residential burglary,” according to the release.
The release said the police anticipate further charges will be filed against Murray and Higgins, but no additional information was available yesterday.
