Motorcyclist dies in crash on Route 106 in Loudon
A motorcyclist died after an accident on Route 106 in Loudon yesterday evening, fire Chief Dick Wright said.
There were no other injuries in the crash between a car and motorcycle at the intersection of Staniels Road and Route 106, Wright said.
Officials responded to the scene at 5:40 p.m. yesterday, Wright said.
Route 106 was closed for several hours last night as officials cleared and investigated the accident.
The motorcyclist’s identity was not released yesterday.
Wright referred further questions to the Loudon Police Department.
An officer at the station last night said he was not authorized to answer questions about the accident.
