Warner man, 26, charged with violent assault of girlfriend
A Warner man faces several charges following what the police allege was a violent assault on his girlfriend.
According to the state police, troopers were called to the scene of a domestic assault on Pleasant Pond Road in Warner at about 2:17 a.m. Monday.
A woman, 27, told the state police that her boyfriend, Nickolas Micucci, 26, had punched her several times in the face, pulled her hair, slammed her head into the wall, threatened her with a knife, stabbed the knife into the wall beside her head and choked her.
According to the state police, Micucci fled before the trooper’s arrival.
The police found Micucci in Contoocook an dhe was taken into custody without incident. According to the state police, he now faces three counts of simple assault, one count of felony level criminal threatening and one count of second degree assault, which is also a felony.
Micucci is being held on $500 cash for each of the felony charges and $1,000 personal recognizance bail for the three simple assault charges, according to the state police.
