For the past 24 years, Concord Hospital has taken a day to treat its employees at all shifts to a day of appreciation through fun, food and music. This year’s celebration, that happened yesterday, also took special notice of one employee in particular. President and CEO Michael Green will retire at the end of the year after more than 20 years of leading the hospital through growth and change. He stood near the entrance to the tent for Pride Day greeting the people that he’s worked with over the years, many of them wearing shirts reading “Thanks Mike!”
