Memorial at N.H. school honors triplets who died

A Pelham memorial to triplet brothers who were diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and died is being dedicated next week.

The memorial to the brothers is at Pelham Memorial School, where their father, Ray Wilkins, was a 30-year employee, coaching baseball and basketball. His wife, Lisa, coached volleyball. The Wilkinses live in Chelmsford, Mass., but are well-known in the area.

The granite bench is engraved with the names of Kyle, Matthew and Patrick Wilkins, and is surrounded by cobblestones, trees and flowers. A dedication is scheduled for next Thursday.

The Eagle-Tribune reported that the boys were diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at age 5. Patrick and Kyle died last year at age 21. Matt died seven years before at age 15.
