Massachusetts man arrested in Bow on drug-related charges
A Massachusetts man arrested yesterday in Bow will face felony drug-related charges in Concord’s district court next week.
A state trooper pulled over Richard Legier, 27, on Interstate 93 in Bow for erratic driving about 9:40 a.m. yesterday. The police said the trooper received a report about Legier, who is from Burlington, Mass., driving erratically in southbound traffic on Interstate 89 and then saw him pass his cruiser near Exit 1.
The trooper followed Legier and stopped him on I-93. Legier performed poorly on his field sobriety tests, the police said, and was then arrested.
The police said the trooper also found what is believed to be cocaine and marijuana inside the car.
The police released Legier on a personal recognizance bail of $15,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 7 in Concord’s district court for charges of felony possession of a controlled drug and driving under the influence of a controlled drug.
