Robert P. Steigmeyer has been named Concord Hospital's new CEO and president, the hospital announced this morning. He will succeed Mike Green, who is retiring this year.

Steigmeyer has been the chief executive officer at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Penn. According to the announcement, Geisinger includes a 297-bed hospital and trauma center, a 180-bed skilled nursing facility and a provider group.

"Concord Hospital's transformation from a community hospital to a progressive and high-performing regional integrated health care system under the leadership of Michael Green has been a great accomplishment," Steigmeyer said in the announcement. "...
