Sometimes someone deserves way more recognition than they get. I think this young man is one of them.

Third grader Max Parenti found $1,450. . . . and turned it into the police.

I don’t know how many adults would have done the same.

Do you know how many Pokemon cards or Pogs or Super Nintendo games that could have bought? (Do third graders still like all those things?)

But why did Max do it? “Because it’s the right thing to do,” he said.
