PHOTO: Roadside Santa statue vandalized in Hooksett

The 25-foot fiberglass Santa Claus that was easily spotted by drivers on I-93 North in Hooksett was the target of vandalism over the weekend, according to statue owner Dave McCurdy. McCurdy said that surveillance footage from his business, MTS Associates at 15 Cross Road in Hooksett, shows a car pulling up early Sunday morning. Using the car’s headlights, people from the car cut the straps supporting the Santa and tipped it over. McCurdy is planning to have the statue repaired and hopes to find information related to the incident.
