The 25-foot fiberglass Santa Claus that could be easily spotted by drivers on Interstate 93 North in Hooksett was the target of vandalism over the weekend, said statue owner Dave McCurdy. McCurdy said surveillance footage from his business, MTS Associates at 15 Cross Road in Hooksett, shows a car pulling up early Sunday morning. Using the car’s headlights to see, people from the car cut the straps supporting the Santa and tipped it over. McCurdy is planning to have the statue repaired and is seeking information related to the incident.
