Police: Razor in trick-or-treat bag in Nashua was pencil sharpener

The police in Nashua said a loose razor blade found in a child’s bag during trick-or-treating on Halloween came from a broken pencil sharpener.

Sgt. Randy Dumais said the boy was using his school backpack to collect Halloween candy. After talking to the boy, the police determined the blade came from the broken sharpener.

Parents are still advised to carefully inspect and check their children’s candy and bags for any suspicious items.
