Penacook woman airlifted after I-93 crash

Annie Demirel, 62, of Penacook was airlifted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston yesterday after a rollover on Interstate 93 in Londonderry.

According to the state police, Demirel was traveling northbound in a 2007 Nissan Sentra about 10 a.m. when she drifted to the right side of the road, over-corrected, veered across the roadway, rolled over and crashed into trees along the left side of the highway.

The police said she had non-life-threatening injuries.

Hmmm.... sounds like a rather expensive response to non-life threatening injuries. But maybe they only knew that after she arrived at the hospital. [shrug]
