It was the last time for the soldiers of the New Hampshire National Guard’s 237th Military Police company to gather as a unit in a light-hearted setting, with their loved ones at their side, before their deployment to Afghanistan in February. “The Regulators,” as they’re known, spent months planning their ball that celebrated the motto “of the troops, for the troops.” Some of the members of the 237 company are a part of a series running in this week’s Sunday Monitor on National Guard members deploying this year.
