84-year-old man robbed at gunpoint in Claremont home
The police in Claremont said an 84-year-old man has been robbed at gunpoint in his home.
The police were called to the house Wednesday night. The police Chief Alex Scott said two suspects forced their way into the man’s home and robbed him while one brandished a firearm. They also took a gun belonging to him.
The homeowner suffered minor scrapes.
Scott told the Eagle-Times the robbery is being investigated. He said the police don’t believe it was a random attack.
