Police answer attempted robbery call at Dunkin’ Donuts branch

Chief: Incident being investigated

The Concord Police Department responded to an attempted robbery report early yesterday morning at a Penacook Dunkin’ Donuts.

The police received a call at 4:23 a.m. yesterday from the Dunkin’ Donuts at 98 Fisherville Road. Police Chief John Duval said the female caller stated two males attempted to rob her.

“No weapons were observed nor mentioned, and they fled the area,” he said.

After reporting to the scene, officers remained for a short period to gather evidence.

Duval said the matter is under investigation.
