DOT: Traffic patterns shifting on I-93
Traffic heading northbound on Interstate 93 will be shifted tonight, weather permitting, to the easterly half of the new southbound bridge over Interstate 89, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Drivers on the portion of I-93 that cuts through Bow should anticipate temporary lane closures and pavement markings as workers relocate concrete barriers, the department announced in a statement. The altered traffic pattern will be in place until the adjacent northbound bridge is completed in 2014.
Officials expect the $14.7 million bridge project to be finished in June 2015.
