Ninety Nine Restaurant holding auction to benefit schools
Ninety Nine Restaurant on D’Amante Drive is auctioning items from its walls, with all of the money raised going to the Concord School District. The auction began Friday and will run through next Wednesday.
“The Ninety Nine places a high value on education and we have a long-standing passion to serve the communities where our restaurants are located, so donating to the local public school system is a natural fit,” Ninety Nine President John Grady said in a statement.
Items on the walls include plaques and various pieces of pop culture memorabilia, and people can bid on them in silent auction style. The restaurant is getting rid of the items as it plans to update its interior.
The restaurant has not yet disclosed whether it will be donating the money to the schools for a specific purpose.
